Hi, I found a book that will also be a wonderful resource:
Designing Forms for Microsoft Office InfoPath and Forms Services 2007 by Roberts/Green.

    See it at http://www.amazon.com/Designing-Microsoft-InfoPath-Services-Development/dp/0321410599/sr=8-1/qid=1170883846/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1/105-7157445-0076400?ie=UTF8&s=books

Hey, I'd like to make a blatant plug for my own book, Pro InfoPath 2007:
    http://www.amazon.com/Pro-InfoPath-2007-Philo-Janus/dp/1590597303/

    Great list!

I was wondering if there is any alternative way for NOT promoting field while publishing your infopath form. Yet have access to the infopath fields from sharepoint designer for workflow purpose ofcourse!
Promoted column approach, not olny causes issue for publishing complex forms, also it is not maintainable. On top of that you end up with having massive number of columns under your column list.
Is there any workaround for this?
If yes, what are the prons and cons?
    Thank you
    Nancy
