Virtual PC is free

I'm a huge fan of virtual environments for doing both development and testing - so I think it is quite interesting to hear that Virtual PC is now free - go to the Virtual PC page for more information or download it.

SharePoint and Information Worker User Groups Worldwide

This is something I am still missing, there's a lot of online stuff about SharePoint - but at times you want to meet some people offline as well. I have put the location of the user group next to it, especially for those less strong in geography ;-)

SharePoint and RPCs

Quite a while ago - sorry Raymond, forgot about your e-mail - I got this nice list of postings about SharePoint RPCs - definitely worth a look:

Take a look at these postings - as well as this one (a newsgroup posting from Todd) - SharePoint web part pages and the last one you must take a look at is the SharePad project on Gotdotnet . I'm wondering how much of this stuff will still work with WSS 3.0 and MOSS 2007?

SharePoint Community Kit (SCK) on CodePlex

I first saw it mentionned on Lawrence Liu his blog - early July (seems to be about now ...) the SharePoint Community Kit will be officially released - "at the most basic level, the SCK is a site template that enables practically anyone to create a community site on WSS V3. The standard edition will require nothing more than the OOTB web parts that come with WSS v3" ... I think this has a lot of potential - you can find more about this on Codeplex - SharePoint Community Kit where this project will be hosted since this is a community based initiative. There also is a SharePoint team site to support this initiative - go to http://sck.officeisp.net/default.aspx where you can find the vision/scope document for the SCK.
